She had her first rice a few weeks ago. She did NOT like it at first and would spit out everything that went in her mouth. I think part of the problem was it was too cold by the time I got it mixed up and got her ready to eat it. We've been practicing and she's getting the hang of it.
I think more than half of it actually goes down the hatch now, and she eagerly takes it from the spoon.
She's still figuring out how to get it all to the back of her mouth. Half of it comes out with a thrust of the tongue.
Oh, and this is funny. Our Tiny E is not so tiny anymore. She's a very big girl. She has rolls all over the place. At 5 months her thighs are so big that the Bumbo seat comes with her when you try to pick her up out of it.
She's either too chubby to do anything or too content to try, because she still just lays there. Does not even try to roll over. We're fine with her not moving though. She's easier to keep track of that way.
