Instead of Fall, we had "drop"

Our early snow(s) and cold snap(s) pretty much put the kibosh on Fall around here. The leaves died and turned brown on the tree without changing color. They were coming off in buckets when the wind picked up the other day. We've gone a week or so without snow now, so today T was able to mow the lawn for the last time this year. Then we raked up some leaves for the kids to play in. E wasn't quite sure what to think of the pile we plopped her in...

but she soon got the hang of it.
