We took a picnic in the forest last weekend to check out the changing colors...or should I say "color!" There aren't too many colors with all the pine trees and all. The aspens turn yellow and they're really pretty against the backdrop of the pines. Our picnic spot was an old logging site...it was getting late and we'd been driving for awhile. The kids were getting hungry and antsy, so it's the best we could do...
